Hango Land Surveying Inc. is a professional legal survey firm located in the Crossroads of the Kootenays, Castlegar, B.C.
The firm was established by Alex Cheveldave, B.C.L.S. in 1959 and was incorporated in 1993. Jerome Hango, B.C.L.S. acquired the firm in 1995 which has operated continuously in Castlegar, accumulating almost 60 years of historical data and area survey plans.

Joshua Hango, B.C.L.S. has been a commissioned professional land surveyor since 2015, working with and training under his father, Jerome, since the late 2000's. Josh was born in Saskatoon but has grown up and lived in Castlegar since the age of 3 but lived 4 years in Burnaby for schooling at BCIT where he received his Bachelor of Technology in Geomatics. Presently as owner, Josh is ready to continue operating the professional land surveying practice in Castlegar.
Field crews utilize modern total station and robotic instruments and electronic data collectors, survey grade RTK GPS receivers, laptops, and a full complement of the latest ancillary survey equipment and tools including 4×4 trucks. Office equipment includes the latest computer technology for COGO/CAD drafting and plotting with the latest versions of CAD software to ensure compatible digital data delivery.
